    ABOUT THE ROLE 

    The Account Executive works across multiple client marketing campaigns in conjunction with an Account Manager and/or an Account Director.  The Account Executive reports to the Account Manager and is responsible for providing support on the implementation and execution of agreed marketing plans, and to assist with monitoring and evaluating the success of those campaigns.  In addition to working closely with the Account team you will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with appropriate suppliers in order to effectively collaborate on delivering all campaign materials within agreed deadlines.

    The scope of campaign support required will vary from one client to the next but will likely include meeting preparation and note-taking, compiling and distributing reports and updates, artwork trafficking, copywriting and proofing, overseeing print production and distribution and administration of grassroots marketing promotions.

    MAIN OBJECTIVES

    • Work across a number of client accounts supporting colleagues to coordinate the delivery of successful marketing campaigns.

    • Administrative and organisational support to the Account Manager.

    • Facilitate the smooth running of marketing meetings via the distribution of invitations, agendas, actions and minutes.

    • Particular emphasis on the integrity and delivery of brand and creative materials, including printed materials, website, eCRM (email marketing) and social media content ideation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    General Marketing and Campaign Support

    • Develop an understanding of key audiences for each production, and support the Account Manager in developing bespoke marketing plans to target them.

    • Work closely with the Account Manager to conceive of, brief in, coordinate approvals for, and execute the deployment of all campaign marketing materials.  This could include copy based, visual and/or audio visual based materials.

    • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to deliver their campaign elements within set timescales.

    • Maintain strong positive client and colleague relationships through effective communication and responding to requests in a timely manner.

    • Update and maintain various project documents, including meeting agendas and presentations, project timelines and phase plans, budget tracking and invoice reconciliation documents, artwork schedules, sales promotion schedules, sentiment and messaging logs, ticket allocation charts.

    • Oversee grassroots marketing campaigns with email outreach and follow-up to appropriate target companies and groups.

    • Assist the Account Manager to conceive of and facilitate promotional partnerships with local hotels and businesses, and sales promotions with third party sellers.

    • Partake in creative idea generation sessions to advance campaigns towards their objectives.

    • Filing and archiving of campaign materials relating to The 5th Wall clients. 

    • General administration, including confidence answering telephone and email enquiries.

    • Provide opinions on community management plans and executions, as well as for partnership, and marketing promotion opportunities.

    • Carry out research and gather information as directed to support the needs of The 5th Wall clients.

    • Suggest improvements to efficiencies across campaigns by identifying new initiatives or revising processes to optimise the quality of work.

    • Become familiar with ticketing procedures and terminology in order to develop an understanding of campaign sales reporting.

    • Where appropriate provide administrative support on ancillary marketing activities such as photo shoots or press/promo events.

    • Attend any appropriate workshops, rehearsals, performances and meetings as requested to effectively fulfil duties.

    • Flexibility to work varied hours and attend training sessions when required.

    • Any other duties required by The 5th Wall.

    Brand Integrity and Creative Trafficking

    • Develop and maintain an unrivalled knowledge and familiarity with each assigned production’s brand copy and creative assets.

    • Ensure that all design assets adhere to the agreed Brand Positioning.  

    • Draft and proof marketing copy that is consistent with the brand’s tone of voice and editorial style.

    • Support the Account Manager with briefing partner companies/suppliers effectively with clear, well-written briefs and achievable deadlines.

    • Seek approvals and traffic artwork, content, copy and other misc creative output in a timely manner.

    • Assist with the development of campaign content roll-out and provide opinions on the creation/production of marketing content (including artwork, copy, messaging).

    • Perform quality control checks across each client’s brand, via regular website and social media channel audits as well as through close liaison with the campaign‘s community and paid specialists.

    • Cultivate an awareness of relevant competitor branding, creative and content executions.

    Email Marketing Campaigns and Website Oversight

    • Plan and oversee campaign email marketing communications, liaising with relevant external suppliers as required.

    • Monitor and report upon the effectiveness of email marketing communications, using a variety of tools including Google Analytics. 

    • Ensure website information is kept up-to-date, including the addition of new content.

    • Support in the reporting and analysis of website analytics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.

    • Support with optimising the website for search engines (SEO).

    • Research updated industry trends and best practice across CRM and social media.

    ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

    The post holder will be required to coordinate multiple tasks and handle a busy varied workload.  Previous experience in a marketing assistant or junior arts administration role would serve as a perfect route into this post, however we recruit based on aptitude and potential so welcome applications from all backgrounds and experience levels.

    The successful candidate will have the following required traits:

    • Excellent written English and an understanding of how to write effective marketing copy.

    • Good communication skills and some experience of working within a team.

    • Proven planning and organisational skills, showing an ability to prioritise competing work demands to meet deadlines.

    • An interest in the cultural sector, and enthusiasm for the ever-evolving marketing landscape.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment and an ability to learn on the job.

    • Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail.

    • Good digital literacy with the ability to create and manage documents within Microsoft or Google Suite.

    • Experience in using content management systems to update basic websites and administer simple email campaigns e.g. WordPress, Squarespace or Mailchimp is desired but not required.

    LOCATION

    Our stunning offices are based in the heart of Fitzrovia, minutes walk from Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road and Warren Street stations.

    We currently operate a hybrid working week, including Tuesday-Thursday in the office with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
