Job summary
As an important member of the Theatre Marketing team, you will assist the Theatre Marketing Manager acting as the main contact for producers and marketing agencies within the West End. You will assist with the delivery of the theatre marketing strategy aimed at delivering incremental sales for See owned channels, See affiliates and See’s Groups business.
Role and responsibilities
- Assist in the ownership and management of specific producer and agency relationships across the West End and UK theatre sector.
- Contribute to developing the theatre marketing calendar and the delivery of the email marketing strategy, including e-shot creation and reporting.
- Work with the Theatre Marketing Manager to enhance content marketing efforts on behalf of clients’ shows.
- Coordinate special offers for theatre shows to ensure that See Tickets and affiliates are competitive.
- Manage the administration of any special offers including updating and amending any See ticketing or Client Management systems.
- Help create marketing plans for theatre clients and ensuring activity is delivered and reported on.
- Creating theatre marketing e-shots and newsletters from start to finish to include data targeting with the help of the Theatre Marketing Manager.
- Building groups and education e-shots working with the specialist teams in these areas
- Management of client content on Seetickets.com, affiliate sales sites and in all external communications
- Contributing to the See blog and social media when needed with help and support from the wider marketing team
- Providing any further marketing / or marketing admin related support to the See
- Tickets London team as required
- Analyse key insights & data to better understand target audiences and expand See’s theatre database.
- Utilise the data tools available at See Tickets to improve reporting and measuring success of campaigns.
- Coordinate POs and invoicing as well as other ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Attending industry events out of work hours on occasion
Required experience and attributes
- A keen interest in theatre and the performing arts
- Excellent relationship management skills ideally covering agency and client
- Copywriting and marketing collateral creation
- Experienced in HTML
- Digital sales and social media knowledge
- PPC experience desirable
- Ability to work across various campaigns and to tight deadlines
- A can do, proactive attitude
